I recently bought a house and all I did the entire month was fill it with plants. I've never had this type of obsession before. I crochet, knit, sew, quilt, bake, do needlework, and paint but somehow the dopamine I get from buying plants, researching about plants, and just caring for them make me really happy and it just hits different for some reason. I love it so much. That is all. Just wanted to share that with someone other than my husband 😂

get a grow tent, start from seed , or cuttings , it’s so much more fun , then again , i don’t mind selling my seedlings/ rooted cuttings ! ahahaha
Had to try not to buy three new plants earlier this week. I believe I’ll treat myself to a new plant this tomorrow because I showed some self restraint earlier. ☺️
Dude. Literally same. I’m 40 and bought my first house last summer and came with exactly 0 plants and now I have more than I can count. My plant mortality rate has improved significantly since we moved and I cannot resist a plant.

It’s so much fun. One of my favorite parts of my day is taking care of my plants and reading about them. Just started in plants six months ago and it’s only gotten more fun the more plants I acquire.
I also recently bought one of those nepenthes pitcher plants. Repot that baby asap because it’s in peat 💀. They need crazy fast draining media and water freqquueennttllyy. Not the type that wants to sit in a tray of water constantly, but almost. Don’t let it dry out completely. Use distilled water if you can. And toonnnsss of sunlight. As much as you can give.
Just spent $90 today on plants and supplies. No judgment here. 🤷💕
Well I’ve run out of room so had to stop. I don’t like clutter, so no shelves etc. for us. We also are able to maintain and keep the ones we have in fantastic condition.
It will only get worse. 😅
